The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) is located on approximately five acres on the Inner Loop in Georgetown just to the east of the entrance to the county’s Juvenile Services building. The shelter is a collaborative effort between the county and participating cities of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander and Hutto.

Vision: To save every healthy and behaviorally sound companion animal. To save all dogs and cats that are medically treatable and/or can be behaviorally rehabilitated.

  • A driver's license is needed for all Adoptions.
  • Adoptions are non-refundable.
  • Animal Licenses are $10 (per unsterile animal) or $5 (per sterile animal with proof) and require proof of rabies vacination

Belia

Breed: Snowshoe Siamese/Mix

An active 2 ½ year old spayed female, Belia possesses a typically curious nature. She explores and then comes back for plenty of attention and loving strokes. Belia is a beautifully marked Black and White Snowshoe Siamese mix.  She weighs approximately twelve pounds and, as an adult cat, is available at the reduced adoption rate of only $25.00 during the month of August.

Such a shy and gentle Chihuahua, Bandit would make the perfect lap companion.  He is almost five years old, neutered, and small but stout at almost 20 pounds. He’s brown and black with distinctive mask like markings, making him appear a somewhat mysterious and very lovable fellow.
